Terms of service

The service

That Place From provides paid, self-guided routes related to movies, TV, games, books, documentaries, and similar media. Routes include map-oriented stop information and optional downloadable files (for example PDF or GPX). The service is not live navigation, a tour operator, or a licensed guide.

Accounts

You must provide accurate registration details and keep your login credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service, attempt unauthorized access to files, or violate these terms.

Purchases & access

• Every commercial route is paid. There are no free routes, gift redemptions, bundles, or subscriptions in the standard product.
• Prices are shown on the product page in the stated currency. Payment is collected via Stripe Checkout.
• Access is granted only after successful payment confirmation (webhook). The checkout success redirect alone does not create access.
• A completed purchase permanently unlocks that Product’s Route for your account, including current and future content attached to that route, subject to these terms and applicable law.
• Refunded or failed payments do not confer access.

License to route content

After purchase you receive a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the route content and authorized downloads for private, non-commercial use. You may not redistribute, resell, scrape, or publicly republish route files, stop databases, or substantial excerpts without written permission.

Safety & outdoor use

You use routes at your own risk. Locations may be on public streets, private property, or restricted sites. Always respect access rules, traffic laws, weather, and personal safety. That Place From is not responsible for injuries, trespass, fines, or travel decisions arising from following a route.

Intellectual property & media

Route packaging, editorial text, maps we produce, and our branding belong to That Place From or its licensors. Referenced films, shows, games, and other media remain the property of their rights holders. We may display attribution and affiliate disclosures where required.

Affiliate links

Pages may contain affiliate links. Purchases through those links may generate a commission for us. This does not affect the price you pay for a That Place From route.

Disclaimers

The service is provided “as is.” We strive for accurate locations and files but do not warrant uninterrupted availability, perfect geodata, or fitness for a particular purpose. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid for the affected route in the twelve months before the claim.

Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. Material purchase terms for an already paid route will not be altered retroactively except as required by law.
